From Field to Mill - Countryfile's Adam Henson traces his wheat to Southampton Mill

The team at Southampton Mill received a visit last week from Adam Henson and the team at BBC's Sunday night cult-viewing programme Countryfile. Adam, who has a special breed's farm in the Cotswold and commercially farms wheat and other crops has been following the chain his crops take before ending up on our plates. So last week Adam followed his wheat from field to Mill, taking him right to the loading bays of the UK's largest Mill. He was also given a tour, learning more about the milling process and how his bread making wheats finish up as quality flour. The programme is set to be aried on Sunday 4th Dec, but until then, here's a sneak preview of Adam with some of the staff based at Southampton!
