Hovis Scholarship Award

Rank Hovis/Hovis are proud to announce that this year's winner of the Hovis Scholarship Award has been awarded to Cameron Potts from Tameside College.

The prestigious scholarship, which has been running since 2004 enables ambitious students to obtain first-hand bakery experience through working with industry professionals from both Rank Hovis and Hovis. Developed and run by Colin Lomax, Rank Hovis Technical Sales Manager, the scholarship involves a 6 day course offering the winning student to explore various areas of the Rank Hovis/Hovis business, visiting the flour mills, testing centres, bakery sites as well as the Rank Hovis technical department and head office.   Cameron is the second student from Tameside College to win the Hovis Scholarship, which is testament to the college, it’s tutors and the high standards they continue to achieve.
