Development Opportunity applies to: Anyone who is studying within the Baking Industry and attending a recognised Bakery School
Age Range for Applicants: 16 years and over
Opportunity Type: Bakery education and training.
Employment Status: Full or part time student
The Development Opportunity
An all expenses paid learning opportunity to study various job roles within the Baking Industry.
An individual plan will be developed over a 4-6 day period, in single or multi slots to work within any combination the following learning opportunities.
- Flour Milling
- Flour Testing
- Test Baking
- Technical Sales
- Plant/Large Scale Bread & Cake Production
- French/Continental Bread Production

Selection Process
A letter is requested giving details of how this award will help you in the future and your areas of interest applicants will be selected for interview.
Successful applicants will be offered a scholarship and will be expected to give both verbal and written report once the visits have been completed.
Applications Dates
Application may be submitted any time. The closing date each year is February 28th. All applicants will be notified as soon as possible after that date whether or not they are being selected for an interview.
