Rank Hovis Scholarship Award
Rank Hovis believes so greatly in people development and doing its bit for the industry, that it has developed the Rank Hovis Scholarship scheme. This prestigious scheme has been run for several years by Rank Hovis personnel, and has seen many successes - in fact; the 2006 winner is now a Rank Hovis Bakery Technologist!

The Development Opportunity
This is an all-expenses-paid learning opportunity to study various roles within the baking industry, and an individual plan will be developed over a four-day period, in single or multiple slots, to work within and combine any of the following learning opportunities:
- Flour milling
- Flour testing
- Test baking
- Technical sales
- Plant/large scale bread and cake production
- French/Continental bread production

Selection Process
A letter is requested giving details of how this award will help you in the future, and indicating your specific areas of interest. Applications will be selected for interviews, and the successful applicant will be offered the scholarship. They will also be expected to give both verbal and written reports once the visits have been completed.
Application Dates
Applications may be submitted at any time. The closing date each year is February 28th. All applicants will be notified soon after that date as to whether they are being selected for an interview.
